{"id":45634,"title":"Books","description":"Reading, ideas, art, activism","content":"<p>The Revolutionary Sell isn\u2019t a blogging platform, but we are sickened by disinformation, the academic separation of culture from realpolitik, and the fatal curses of greenwash and over-optimism.<br \/><br \/>In this context it seems essential to help amplify ideas, organisations and individuals we believe are working for the common good, even if those behind them aren\u2019t all good all of the time. <br \/><br \/>Books seem the logical place to start, so <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.goodreads.com\/review\/list\/183119606?shelf=%23ALL%23\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><u>here\u2019s<\/u><\/a> our regularly updated Good Reads list of work we\u2019ve read or want to read.<br \/><br \/>Like everything, most books are flawed and writers even more so.  <br \/><br \/>There\u2019s work here by authors whose behaviour and positions on minority, individual or state politics we disagree with.
